The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity (CCGSD): Sports Inclusion

The Sports Inclusion Program at CCGSD “aims to challenge homophobia and transphobia in athletics [in order] to make sports a more accepting and inclusive pastime for all athletes, regardless of sexual orientation and/or gender identity”. Workshops are available for interested and eligible groups in English and French and are free of charge. This link will also provide you access to the CCGSD’s Sports Inclusion Guidebook, which includes a brief history of LGBTQI2S+ inclusion in sport, barriers to participation, notes on trans allyship, and supports for coaches and parents.
